Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement (Pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015) 

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets  out the steps the Aventive Group has taken during the financial year to ensure that slavery  and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains. 

  1. Organisation and Structure 

The Aventive Group operates across its business activities through its subsidiaries and  affiliated entities. We are committed to conducting our operations responsibly, ethically, and  in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 

  1. Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking 

The Aventive Group has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labor,  servitude, and human trafficking. Our policies reflect our commitment to acting with integrity  and respecting internationally recognised human rights. We expect the same standards from  all employees, suppliers, contractors, and business partners. 

  1. Due Diligence Processes 

To mitigate the risk of modern slavery, the Aventive Group undertakes due diligence  processes appropriate to the nature of our operations and supply chains. These may include: 

  • Assessing potential risks associated with suppliers and partners; 
  • Including anti-slavery and human trafficking clauses in relevant contracts; • Reviewing supplier practices where risks are identified. 
  1. Risk Assessment and Management 

The Aventive Group recognises that risks of modern slavery may exist within supply chains,  particularly in certain industries or jurisdictions. We take a risk-based approach to identifying  and addressing such risks and seek to work with suppliers to promote ethical labor practices. 

  1. Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking 

We monitor the effectiveness of our actions through ongoing review of our policies, supplier  relationships, and internal procedures. Where concerns are identified, we take appropriate  action, which may include remediation, engagement with suppliers, or termination of  relationships.

  1. Training and Awareness 

Where appropriate, the Aventive Group provides guidance and training to employees to raise  awareness of modern slavery risks and to ensure they understand their responsibilities in  identifying and reporting concerns. 

  1. Reporting Concerns 

The Aventive Group encourages the reporting of any concerns related to slavery or human  trafficking and ensures that individuals who raise concerns in good faith are protected from  retaliation. 

  1. Approval 

This statement has been approved by the leadership of the Aventive Group and will be  reviewed annually to ensure its continued effectiveness and compliance with the UK Modern  Slavery Act 2015.
